The Sembrando Raices Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 by missionaries and staff of the Evangelical Methodist Church in El Salvador (IEMEES). This fund offers a means for individuals and groups who have formed connections through various ministries of the Methodist Church in El Salvador to contribute to the education of children who might otherwise lack such opportunities. In collaboration with other ministry partners of the IEMEES, the scholarship fund supports a comprehensive outreach initiative that addresses the needs of the body, mind, and spirit. We are convinced that a strong educational foundation equips children with alternatives to perilous societal challenges, including teenage pregnancy, unemployment, and undocumented migration.
